The Science and Technology Diplomacy Circle was opened by remarks from the Chargés d’affaires of the Indian Embassy. This was followed by a presentation from Dr. Harayama, Executive Member of the CSTI, who stood before the science and technology (S& T) attachés in attendance to give an overview of the 5th Science and Technology Basic Plan, which was approved by the cabinet in January of this year.

The Science and Technology Diplomacy Circle is a networking organization for S& T attachés stationed in embassies in Tokyo to come together and share the latest information and initiatives related to science and technology innovation in Japan.
