On November 5, Professor Shuji Nakamura, winner of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics, paid a visit to Minister Shunichi Yamaguchi, Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy.

Minister Yamaguchi welcomed Professor Nakamura, saying, “Professor Nakamura’s contribution to mankind epitomizes the spirit of the Nobel Prize. I am sure the people from his home town of Tokushima and the outlying regions are both excited and proud of his accomplishments.”
