The "Business-Academia-Government Collaboration Summit" is being held every year since 2001 to strengthen ties between business, academia, and government. Leaders of the business world and top representatives of universities, research institutes, and local governments will gather at the summit to engage in dialogue and the exchange of ideas. Enhancing mutual understanding and building relationships of trust between the three realms, and reflecting this in relevant policy, will contribute to ensure that Japan is a nation oriented towards the active promotion of science and technology.
