About Kyoto State Guest House that serves the foreign dignitaries with "OMOTENASHI ~ the essence of Japanese hospitality~"

The Kyoto State Guest House opened in April 2005 as a national reception facility to receive foreign dignitaries invited to visit Japan as official guests of the Japanese government, which role it continues to fulfill. It was built in a modern interpretation of traditional Japanese architecture and interior design and offers the guests the opportunity to experience the long history and the refined and varied culture of Kyoto.
