Program outline

The Japan-China Youth Friendship Exchange Program started in 1979 to commemorate the conclusion of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Japan and the People's Republic of China. The purpose of this program is to deepen mutual understanding and friendship among the youth of the two nations. The goal is achieved by visiting each other's country and participating in exchange with local youth as well as cultural, educational and industrial tours in the area.
