The 29th Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Photo Album (Activities in Vietnam)
As Vietnam was the first port of call after the departure from Yokohama port, participants were pleased to be on land and have a curiousity about the country. After the ship was in port, they had sightseeings by bus and attended dinner reception.
Then they had introduction of each countries to local people.
Japanese youth put on happi coat and performed Japanese singer's dance.
The day 2, participants moved by solidarity groups (about 30 participants from 11 countries). They visited a historical museum and a museum of war in the morning, and had an exchange program with local students in the city.
They enjoyed observing the campus, singing and dancing together, trying calligraphy or composite sketches.
The day 3, they had institutional visit by solidarity groups.
They understood various face of the country by visiting a temple to study monk's care for elderly, orphanage, cookie factory, and so on.
It was very good oppoutunity for Japanese participants to observe rare places.
