The 15th Ship for World Youth Photo Album (Activities in Australia)

The ship called at Cairns in Australia in the welcome of the State of Queensland local government on November 8. The first day, they visited a JAPUKAI culture park and pays a courtesy call on the local governments inside the park. The show which introduces the former occupant culture of Australia was inspected, and aborigine culture was studied. They had chance to contact with the nature of Australia during the morning on the next day, and intaract with local people in the afternoon on the next day. Then visited the zoo called Wild World and returned to the ship and had an exchange program with local high school students. The time of pleasant exchange was spent having taught the conditions of a country of its own country and Australia, and suiting. Ex-participants of the program in Australia carried out self-sacrificing cooperation for the program. Participants were able to feel Australia more familiar with short time, thanks to their hospitality. Nippon maru went to Hawaii straight on November 9, regretting separation with the local youths who became intimate.
