The 15th Ship for World Youth Photo Album (Activities in Canada)
Nippon maru arrived at Vancover where it anchored the longest days of the program.
At first participants received an orientation to understand background knowledge of the city. Then representatives of the British Colombia state government and ex-participants of the program was on board to have a warm welcome and coutresy call. Beautiful chorus and dance was performed as well. In the afternoon they visited Vancover aquarium and then had a reception on board with participants of SWYAA International Reunion.
The day 2, they visited the University of British Colombia.
Students help them to inspect the facilities on campus such as Inazo Nitobe park, library, historical museum and so on.
They also had chance to attend a lecture by graduated students.
In November 27, they had a discussion about post-program activities.
They studied and shared how to make use of experiences of the program to soceity, and thy saw a main purport of the program in a fresh light.
After departure, Canada and U.S. participants hosted a party to cherish a memory of the days in Canada
