Meeting on possible science and technology cooperation between Bulgaria and Japan

 On February 23, 2018, Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, Mr. Masaji MATSUYAMA, received a courtesy visit by Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Tomislav DONCHEV.

  Both Minister MATSUYAMA and Deputy Prime Minister DONCHEV enjoyed their reunion since their last meeting in October 2015 in Bulgaria, and exchanged views and comments on possible promotion of science and technology cooperation between the two countries. The Deputy Prime Minister showed his interests in IT and digital agriculture as priority cooperation areas. They agreed to follow up on these themes utilizing bilateral cooperation schemes such as a joint committee on science and technology.
