Council for Science, Technology and Innovation 1. investigaes and discuss basice policies concerning science and technolgy, 2. investigates and discusses science and technology budjets and the allocation of human resources, and 3. assesses Japan's key reserch and development. CSTI has 5 expert panels. Expert Panel on Basic Policy, Expert Panel on STI Promotion Strategy, Expert Panel on Important Issues, Expert Panel on Bioethics and Expert Panel on Evaluation.
