| Details of Measures | 1. Of 7 items (22 pieces) in the first-aid kit, import licenses and approval (if necessary) are necessary for 2 items (2 pieces) under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law. The rest of the items can be cleared through the customs immediately. The simplification of procedures for import approvals and licenses is to be further studied in the future. 2. Application for import approval is required for fire extinguishers from the viewpoint of ensuring the safety of high-pressure gas etc. (applications to be submitted with the Governor of prefecture at the point of unloading). |
