Details of Measures | 1. Re. silk clothes, reply was made that the certificates of origin were necessary, pointing out that the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (Washington Convention) was not applied to silk clothes, and explaining the purpose of domestic regulations with respect to import of silk clothes. 2. Re. feather quilts, it was replied that in Japan's interpretation the certificates of origin, were necessary in order to fulfill the obligation, under the Washington Convention. |
