Subject | Approval of the in-flight sale of Australian frozen beef which is transported by air to Hong Kong and Manila, to Japanese countries who visit there.
Details of Measures | Explanations were made as follow: Philippines were contaminated with malignant infectious diseases of cloven-hoofed animals and therefore had problems in prevention of epidemics, but that there would be no problem when carry-on beef produced in Australia was sold within aero planes without loading or unloading halfway, or when it was sold countries free from malignant infectious diseases of cloven-hoofed animals other than Australia. The complainant understood the explanations and is re-examining his sale program.
