||
Details of Measures | 1. Explanations were made as follows: (1) Concerning the capacity restriction, USA adopted the system to secure the safety by grading the thickness regulations according to internal pressure of a container or by other means, but Japan could not adopt the same regulation system as that of USA partly because Japan had no thickness regulations. (2) Concerning the pressure restriction, Japan, as USA adopted the same regulations which were based on the vapor pressure curve of CFC 12, except that the standard temperatures were different. In addition, there are no international standards for aerosol products. 2. Concerning inspection agencies for imported aerosol products, it was decided to approve foreign inspection agencies, including authorized inspectors, and not to set any specific limits to them. (This decision has been enforced since March 1st, 1983) |
