| Details of Measures | Concerning the pipeline fee, New Tokyo International Airport Authority has been earnestly negotiating with IATA (International Air Transportation Association) since February this year. On July 20, the Authority applied to the Ministry of Transport for approval of the fee being 6, 000 yen/kl during the fiscal 1983 and 6,500 yen/kl in the fiscal 1984 onward, changing 9,800 yen/kl the Authority had initially proposed to IATA. On August 4, the Ministry of Transport approved the fee by modifying it into 5,800 yen/kl during 1983, 6,000 yen/kl during January-June, 1984 and 6,500 yen/kl from July 1984 to avoid international frictions. The new fee has been applied since August 8. | ||
