| Details of Measures | 1. In countries in the world, either the government or some official agency is responsible for testing and type approval of meters. It is therefore difficult, for the time being, to accept foreign test data. The case is being studied by the OIML. Our measures will be on the basis of the result of the studies there. 2. The tonometer in question consists of a large number of parts, and errors in individual parts accumulate to create different levels of errors for individual tonometers. Distribution of defective tonometers will have effects on the health of people who use them. It is therefore necessary to inspect all tonometers. 3. In order to clearly distinguish it from an aneroid pressure gauge, it is required to provide a seal for indication if there is no indication to show that it is a tonometer. It was explained that the seal can be an ordinary seal, but is not necessary to be a thick one or a special one. |
