Details of Measures | 1. Reply was made as follows: (1) It would be difficult to raise the upper limit because of the need to prevent environmental pollution. In EC countries, indication based on the test is required to verify safety etc. of small-quantity new chemical substance. By the way discussion on this issue will be made again in case new scientific information is obtained in the future. (2) Opportunities for their notification will be increased from the current 3 times to 4-5 times per year. 2.
