Subject | Concerning the import of fire extinguishers attached to automobiles, simplification of the procedure for prefectural governor's approval of them. Especially no application of such approval procedure to those which has been used in a foreign country and are carried into this country as one of the properties to be moved. | ||
Details of Measures | Reply was made as follows: the fire extinguisher in question has a very high gas pressure and must be confirmed its safety. The same regulation as in our country is made internationally and the approval procedure can therefore not be removed even if they are one of the properties to be moved when one changes his address. Concerning high-pressure gas, we have accepted the standards and inspection data of USA, England, F.R. Germany, France and Australia and simplified the procedure for obtaining the permission of its import. We will made it known to all the related organs so that the same procedure will also be applied to the fire extinguishers attached to automobiles. |
