Subject Abolishment of document giving the number of chemical substances, which currently are required for the import of such chemical substances.
Details of Measures Reply was made that in the import of chemical substances, it was necessary to confirm for safety's sake whether they were new chemical substances, up to now if the imports were one of existing substances, the importer had been required to submit a prescribed form to the customs, but in future procedures would be simplified by abolishing the prescribed form. Instead importers would indicate the necessary classification numbers and other information required for to identify the imported chemical substances in the import application sheet, etc.
