| Details of Measures | 1. The present conditions were explained to the complainant that since the exhaust gas testing equipment is very expensive, etc., it has been set up in Tokyo and Kyoto under the situations that the newly registered cars are concentrating in the Kanto and the Kinki districts. Additionally concerning the complainant's suggestion that the testing institute in Kyoto is making no substantial activities, it was replied that the testing institute in Kyoto had been making the test according to the users' requests and he was misunderstanding that situation, and he has now understood our answer. 2. Reply was made that in the exhaust gas test, if the cars are of the same type and structure, their sampling rate in the same in both cases of individuals and cooperative associations. |
