| Details of Measures | 1. It was explained that the color coding on lead wires for switches is consistent with Japanese production and distribution conditions, but that the products made to European standards should also carry that they conform to JIS standards. At the same time, it was stated that Japan is prepared to review the situation with a view to harmonization should international standards be established. 2. It was explained that all of the standard procedures to be followed in setting standards were followed in this case, including prior notification under the GATT standard Code. |
