Details of Measures | Like the EC and other countries that treat a feed binder as a feed additive, Japan treats a feed binder as a feed additive under the provisions of the Law Concerning Safety Assurance and Quality Improvement of Feed. Just as each North American and European countries takes the responsibility for approving feed additives based upon the scientific data. Japan designates feed additives after their safety, effectiveness, and other factors have been determined by the Agricultural Materials Council of distinguished experts. It was explained that an applicant wishing to have calcium lignosulphonate so designated should submit the necessary documentation and information to the Council. | ||
