Details of Measures | 1. It was explained that the time required for consideration (less than three months) cannot be further shortened, since the process involves (1) confirmation of the test method and check of the test data of chemical substances, (2) deliberations by the Councils, and (3) coordination among the ministries and agencies concerned. 2. It was further explained that an effort has already been made to streamline the testing method and to reduce the number of test items effective as after April 1, 1987, in line with an OECD recommendation and that this should result in lower test fees. |
