Subject Approval of certification on the back of invoice by the responsible officer at the port of entry that the product is wool processed without the use dieldrin.
Details of Measures It was explained that the present Directive requires that the invoice backing certificate on processed wool not using dieldrin have the signature and seal of the importer's representative by way of having the importer guarantee the safety of imported processed wool, work is now underway on reviewing and revising the documentation procedures, including simplifying the certification procedures so that an invoice backing certificate can be accepted even if it only has the signature and seal of the person responsible for the import operation at the port of entry, and it is expected that these revised procedures will go into effect by the end of fiscal 1987.
