Details of Measures | 1. It is prescribed that residual limit of sulfur dioxide in ginseng tea must not be held more than 30ppm under the standards for use of food additives based on Food Sanitation Law. If any foods containing chemically synthesized food additives are imported, the statement of that fact should be indicated in the import notification form. The labeling of that fact domestic distribution process is required as well if it is sulfur dioxide. 2. It was also replied that Ministry of Health and Welfare does accept inspection results of official inspection agencies in the exporting countries which we registered by Ministry of Health and Welfare and that there are currently 13 inspection agencies in the Republic of Korea as such. The list of the 13 registered inspection agencies was given to the complainant and the complainant was asked to take advantage of this system. |
