| Details of Measures | It was explained that Japan, along with the United States and the European Community countries, is one of 56 contracting parties to the International Convention on the Harmonized commodity Description and Coding System (commonly referred to as the HS Convention), that the custom tariff classification is determined in accordance with the Japanese tariff schedule which is based on the HS nomenclature. Diaphragm sheet is classified under this tariff schedule not as machinery parts but as cloth or rubber products. | ||
