It was replied that Japanese Electric Appliance test Association states that even the cords or plugs without T mark can be used if they comply with the safety standard (technical standard) prescribed by the Ordinance of Ministry of International Trade and Industry (the Association tests said cords and plugs). 2. The technical standard for nominal diameter in the screw of earth (220V) was revised on July 17, 1990 to change 4.0 mm into 3.5 mm. |
