| Details of Measures | Under the Japanese Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, applications for a permit (or approval) of production of cosmetics or sale of imported cosmetics have to be accompanied by data necessary to confirm their safety, etc. With regard to this, the Ministry of Health and Welfare is aware that business organizations, etc. of Japan, the U.S. and Europe hold examinations to prepare data necessary for applications. The Ministry replied that, after applications accompanied by examination results are submitted, it would strive in good faith for efficient handling of the matter. |
