Details of Measures | Until now, the length of hoses on fixed refueling pumps had been set at a maximum of 3 meters, in accordance with Article 17, Section 1 Item 7 of the Government Ordinance on Handling Hazardous Materials. The length of hoses on fixed refueling pumps was studied from the perspective of safety in handling hazardous materials, using a survey of conditions in other countries for reference, and safety up to a maximum length of 5 meters was confirmed. Based on this, the complainant was informed that the Government Ordinance on Handling Hazardous Materials was revised on July 30, 1993 and that the maximum length of fixed refueling pump hoses was set at 5 meters. |
