Information on Regulatory Reform

The "Council for Promotion of Regulatory Reform" is an organization established based on Article 37, paragraph (2) of the Act for Establishment of the Cabinet Office. The Council's primary mission is to comprehensively study and deliberate essential points related to reforming the concept of regulations required to move ahead with the economic society's structural reform in response to the consultation from the Prime Minister.
The new organization of the Council for Regulatory Reform was launched as the permanent installation in October 2019.
