1. For specifications of standard-size items (domestic mail) prescribed by the Postal Law, the size is the same as standard-size items (international mail) as prescribed by the Letter Post Regulations of the Universal Postal Union. However, its weight and thickness are different.

3. Books, magazines, trade catalogs, bulletins, various manuals, and calendars, and CD or DVD etc. may be sent at less expensive charges than those of general parcel posts as pamphlet items in Japanese domestic market.
