| Details of Measures | It was explained that Japanese policy is as indicated at the June 1985 international conference on standardizing home washing and other instructions and that the ISO is currently studying this issue with a view to formulating uniform international standards. It was also explained that Japan has been surveying Japanese opinion since fiscal 1986 for submission to the ISO and that other countries are also conducting similar studies and surveys, but that it is expected to take some time to coordinate these different national views. |
