Ai Nakasone (Group5)【Japan (Okinawa)】

We got a lecture from Mr.Matsui. I think that content was so interesting, but his performance was not so good. So I was sleeping sometimes. And we would go to the Tokashiki Island, but we couldn't go there because of the typhoon. Everyone was so sad,  right? I felt so, too.
Today's marshmallow game was so excited! I learned form that we should listen opinions each other, and it is important to make some plans before we do some activities. Also I learned from it is very important to cooperate each other. I thought it is easy first, but it is not so and it is great game. After that, we did a discussion about problems of water. First it sounded very difficult for me, but I was able to enjoy the discussion. I learned that every country has both, the same problem and different one. So I think it is very important to share our opinions each other. I learned many things today. I'll enjoy this program until I go back home.

Hiroki Sakaibara (Group5)【Japan (Hiroshima)】

Hello, everyone. My name is Hiroki Sakaibara.   I'm very sorry that we can't go to Tokashiki Island today because of the typhoon. I was very surprised when it was decided that we couldn't go there after packing. Today, opening ceremony was held. It was very great! I'd like to take this occasion to express my gratitude to hold such a nice opening ceremony for us! After the opening ceremony, Prof. Matsui gave a lecture tons.
It was very interesting because I'm fond of the space, and he spoke about the space.  After that, I enjoyed the reception very much.
And, there was a discussion from 3:30. We did (played) marshmallow challenge. We used a string, a tape,  20 pieces of spaghetti, and a marshmallow to build something tall, and we competed with the other groups for how high the marshmallow is. Our group completed first, but it was very difficult and it collapsed. After it, we discussed too much about the problems of water. It was very worthwhile.  Now, I feel time flies very fast. When I came to here Okinawa, I was very nervous and I felt time passed very slowly. But now, I'm enjoying this project very much. From now, we'll have many lectures and discussions.
We have only 2 weeks, I'll make good use of this program and make this program more enjoying.
  I'll stick it out!
  Thank you very much.

Ji Hwan Park (Group5)【Korea

I was really sad and disappointed when I heard that we were not going to go to Tokashiki Island today. Because I heard that island is really beautiful.
Opening ceremony in Bankoku Synryokan was great.
It was kind of boring. I mean the lecture.
Luncheon was great. I saw great performances and had great buffet. Especially the dance with modern music was impressive.
Youth leader's leave was sad and touching. Youth leaders kept saying that time flies. So I thought I should enjoy every second of this program.
Marshmallow building was especially fun, I became to know more about my group members. It was great time.

Chanthida Banmanivong (Group5)【Laos

Hi! My name is Ms chanthida. I'm 16 years old.
Today is 10.8.2010. I won't go Tokashiki, because there is a storm (Taifoun).
So, I just go to open ceremony(submit hall)and I have a lot of friends, in my group there is 10 people if we have free time, we'll play some game and group discussion about water, (drinking water, problem water・・)
It has been a week later that I came to Japan (Okinawa), this is the first time for me (Itoman Youth House). The first thing that I'm really worried is my English, because there is people that come from oversea and Okinawa so we have different pronunciation. I'm worry I don't understand, when the first time in the lecture. They always use difficult words, It makes me can't understand all, just a little bit … and I always ask my tutor (Dissa Indonasia). So it's the biggest problem for me I'm gonna try to comprehend and try to listen English language, I think if I could be here again I'm gonna do as can as I can do, I wanna say “Thank you to all of friends, tutors that help me”. It's the short time just 3weeks, but we can keep/give smile to each other (I have to crying and happiness together!!!)
